2025 Christmas gifts for freelancers, self-employed, and small business owners

First things first, if you’re my friend or family reading this, I actually do want all these things (and if I don’t get them for Christmas, I’ll be investing in them myself).

It can be lonely running your own thing. You have to be your own marketing manager, accountant, customer service, and PR. These gifts will help the self-employed in your life make all of these areas run more smoothly.

The only PR membership you need in 2026

Lucy Werner’s books were fundamental in setting up my business (especially Brand Yourself). Her current offering is absolutely worth its weight in gold: Hype Yourself. Regular PR workshops, tips, guest experts (this year we had sessions on getting into Forbes, The Metro, running workshops, and public speaking, to name just a few), a lot of cheerleading, and much, much more. You can get her monthly newsletter for free to dip your toe in and see if her content is for you.

A subscription to Hype Yourself is £79.99 for a year or £7.99 a month.

10 minutes a day to consistent marketing

I’ve spent the last three months in Hannah Isted’s Best 90 Days Ever, and it’s been such a valuable investment of money and energy. Each day, Hannah shares a 10-minute marketing task - everything from putting the foundations in place with goals and plans, to quick ways to repurpose content, and how to actually convert from that content. It takes so much indecision away from marketing my business, and has really helped me make things quicker and easier.

You can join for 90 days for just £90, or for the whole year for £180 (full disclosure: this is an affiliate link, so I am rewarded if you join, but I will be joining again for the next 90 days too!).

The community for freelance parents

It’s hard to put Doing It For The Kids into words. It’s an online community (sometimes IRL) full to the brim of wonderful freelance parents. Freelance life can be lonely, but it isn’t with DIFTK in your pocket.

You can get a three-month (£42) or six-month (£84) membership as a gift.

Coaching supervision - not just for Christmas!

All good coaches have regular supervision. It’s a space to reflect on your work deeply, be challenged so you can develop and grow, and be supported as you support your coaching clients.

Supervision with me is currently available one-to-one on a pay-as-you-can model, and I have four spots open for a closed group supervision starting on 26th January. If either might be of interest, book a free supervision discovery call with me or read more about my approach to supervision.
