Coaching Supervision at The Float Space
Bring your coach brain to the spa — supervision is where you work out the knots, deepen your practice, and stay resourced to do your best work.
It’s a question many coaches ask themselves. You might think:
“I’m not working with enough clients yet.”
“It’s too expensive until I’m earning more.”
“I already reflect on my practice — do I need a formal space for it?”
Here’s the truth: any good coach benefits from supervision. It’s not a sign you’re struggling - it’s the professional standard that helps you coach ethically, effectively, and with confidence. (And yet, research shows only about 40% of coaches are in supervision at any given time 😮).

FAQs
What is coaching supervision?
Coaching supervision is a reflective, supportive space to explore your coaching practice. It’s where you can bring challenges, celebrate wins, and strengthen your skills and ethics as a coach. Think of it as professional reflection with purpose — a place to pause, learn, and grow.
How is supervision different from coaching?
Coaching focuses on your clients’ goals.
Supervision focuses on you as the coach.
It’s a collaborative space to explore what’s happening in your sessions — your reactions, challenges, patterns, and blind spots — so you can keep showing up as your best coaching self.
What’s the difference between 1:1 and group supervision?
1:1 supervision gives you dedicated space to explore your own coaching practice in depth. We follow what’s alive for you — specific clients, ethical dilemmas, boundaries, or confidence-building themes.
Group supervision brings together a small circle of coaches to reflect collectively, learn from each other, and normalise common challenges. You’ll benefit from shared insight, connection, and new perspectives.
Both formats support your professional growth — it’s just about your preferred learning style and what you need right now. Many coaches (myself included) access both services regularly because they provide quite different support.
Who is supervision for?
Supervision is valuable for all coaches — whether you’re newly qualified, still in training, or an experienced practitioner. If you’re coaching others, you’ll benefit from the support, ethical guidance, and reflection supervision offers.
Do I need to be credentialed or certified to access supervision?
Not at all. You can begin supervision at any stage of your coaching journey. In fact, it’s a great habit to establish early — it helps you build good practice foundations and confidence.
What’s your approach as a supervisor?
My approach is warm, reflective, and supportive — a balance of empathy and gentle challenge. I create a non-judgmental space where we can explore what’s really happening beneath the surface of your coaching sessions and turn reflection into learning.
Is there a cost?
At the moment, I’m offering a pay-what-you-can model. That means if you’re still building your client base or doing pro bono work, we can find an amount that works for you. This is typically the average hourly rate your coaching clients pay you.
